Brisbane Wedding Photography
When choosing a wedding photographer, you want to make sure they’re the perfect fit. Trust and connection matter.
I want to know all the wondrous things that make your love story special and how your wedding day is unique to you. The more I know about you, the better I can document the tearful laughs, joyous hugs and quiet moments of solitude.
I capture the moments when you feel truly yourself. And I do so in the most honest and beautiful way possible. To me, a candid photo is a moment when you feel happy and comfortable. Your inner glow shines through, creating an image that makes you go ‘ohhh’.
It’s the feeling when you’re at a dinner party with your best friends, holding the hand of your love, and you take a moment to look around, full belly, warm heart and you smile deeply content and joyful.
My Approach
I’m a Brisbane wedding photographer who values quality over quantity. I take on a limited number of weddings per year to ensure I give 100% of my attention to yours.
I find the best wedding photography is of couples who are keen to celebrate their love in an authentic way. They have a romantic ease about their day and navigate a well-considered timeline, while leaving space for spontaneous moments to happen.
I want your images to be everything you want and more, so I take notes on which parts of the day are important to you and build the photo timeline around capturing them.
How I Work
Pre Wedding Preparations
Pre-wedding photos are a balance between candid photos and directed ones. I document the details you carefully curated, like your invitations, bouquets and finishing touches. And of course, I capture the momentous champagne toasts and nervous smiles across the room as well. My main goal is to slow it all down and document the moments as they occur.
Ceremony
By the time your wedding day arrives, I know how the ceremony is going to run and where to position myself so I don’t get in the way. I like to take the time to photograph your family and friends dressed in their finest; warm embraces of congratulations; how the light falls on the day; the love between you and your partner, and your guests’ reactions when you say ‘I do’.
Wedding Party Shoot
The wedding party shoot commences with photographs of the whole group before focusing on just the two of you. After our engagement shoot, you would have experienced me being a third wheel so you’ll feel comfortable. As we go on our adventure (pre-arranged), I’ll help you soak up every second and capture the beautiful moments as they unfold.
Reception
I document stylistic details of the reception room and move around quietly looking for intimate moments and happy hugs. If speeches are a part of your structure, I’ll photograph each speaker and your and the guests’ reactions. With all the formal photographs out of the way, it’s time for you to let your hair down and bust a move on the dance floor.
Kate was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. I remember I called her one day to enquire about prices, availability etc … we spent 5 minutes talking wedding and then about 40 minutes just talking. She is so wise and calm, so happy and funny and just so lovely.
She and I bonded over the fact that Sam should wear a bowtie for the day and that we should adopt a cat (we have adopted a fur-child since the wedding – thanks Kate!!). Because of her, we have the most beautiful images of our wedding, and I’m sure a life long friend.

FAQs
How many photos will I receive?
For full day coverage you’re looking at 600-800 photos more or less depending on what happens on the day.
When will I receive my photos?
You will receive a link to an online gallery ten weeks from your wedding day. This gallery is password protected and will be available for three months past the date it is published. The images can be downloaded directly from the gallery.
How long does it take to get a wedding album made?
From design to the album makers could take 1-2 months depending on revisions. Design commences after you have received your wedding photos and made a selection using the online gallery. Draft designs will be emailed to you for approval. Once the final design is approved it will be sent to the album makers and this could take 8-10 weeks.
When should the engagement shoot be scheduled for?
No later than one month prior to the wedding day. Engagement shoots are either scheduled early in the morning around sunrise of close to sunset in the afternoon.
Engagement photos are usually ready between 2-3 weeks. You will receive an online password protected gallery to view the photographs. The photographs can be purchased as a collection but this is an additional charge.
Do we pick a location?
That would be recommended especially if you have special spots that you both share. I am more than happy to make suggestions based on the kind of look you want for the photos eg beach, nature, cityscape or would love to hear about any ideas you have including four legged friends.
What is required to secure my booking?
I accept only a limited number of weddings a year. For this reason, I book on a first come, first serve basis. Until a retainer is received, I do continue to accept inquiries for your date. Once received, I’m officially all yours!
